Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow

To succeed, a modern organization needs both speed and stamina. It needs the talented, creative hare and it needs the steady, disciplined tortoise. More importantly, it needs them to learn to work together. A lot of effort goes into finding and hiring creative, innovative people. And yet, after the exhaustive selection process is over, the newly hired creative people often find themselves on the receiving end of a slow but deliberate effort to smother the very qualities they were chosen for in the first place.
