OACC Queen's Park Day

OACC Queen's Park Day
May 14, 2012 at Queen’s Park
10am-4pm: Individual MPP Meetings
5-7pm: Reception, Conference Rooms 228-230

The OACC is excited to announce we will be holding an MPP lobby day and reception at Queen’s Park on May 14, 2012.

This is a great opportunity to meet with MPPs and members of the association, and to demonstrate everything private career colleges have to offer within the post-secondary education sector.

OACC Government Relations Consultant John Nunziata says the reception is an excellent occasion to share the importance of the PCC sector with elected officials.

“Individual OACC members will have the opportunity to build on their positive relationship with their local MPP,” said Nunziata.

The event is in line with OACC’s goal to meet with all 107 MPPs over a 12 month period to bring forward key legislative issues and to enhance awareness of the private career college sector.

The daytime portion of the event will feature individual MPP meetings, which will be followed by presentations, a showcase of skills, and a buffet at the evening reception.

We also welcome members to bring a student or graduate donning their professional attire, so that they may share their college story with MPPs.

Members, please RSVP by Friday, May 4th, 2012.
To RSVP to the reception, contact April Chato at (519) 752-2124 ext. 113 or via e-mail at aprilchato@oacc.on.ca. If you are interested in meeting with your MPP, contact John Nunziata at john@johnnunziata.com.
