New Partnership for Complections and Canadian Film Centre

PREMIERE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CANADIAN FILM CENTRE AND COMPLECTIONS INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY INC.

Two of Canada's leading cultural institutions have developed a mutual agreement which will further the co-operative industry links in Canada's vital creative entertainment sector.

The Canadian Film Centre and Complections, College of Make-up Art and Design, both key Toronto based organizations providing high level advanced training of career specialists, will undertake a joint program to promote excellence of make-up and hair within the film and television production sector.

By terms of the mutual agreement, the CFC will access selected Complections graduates to work on current film and television projects and productions while the Complections alumni will obtain invaluable post-graduate hands-on experience and credit for their work.

In September, the first opportunity was given to Blake Evernden, a Complections graduate who gained time and union points working on six CFC Short Dramatic Film productions over the course of six days.

In making the announcement in Toronto, Complections President Pamela Earle said:
